WGA reaches labor deal
Struggle spread to a legion of Angelenos both within and outside Hollywood, whose work suddenly stopped. Prized possessions were sold, side gigs were taken and more debt had to be absorbed in order for many workers to keep their heads above water financially.
We don’t yet know the full effect of the strikes on the local economy … but that’s coming. Our Robert Garrova has more details.
