Apparently, in 2022, performance artist Laurie Anderson hosted an 85th birthday party at the Rockefeller Center ice rink for Philip Glass (yes, you read that right, contemporary classical composer Philip Glass). And now we’re getting the L.A. version that no one asked for but we definitely need (thank you, L.A. Phil!). With rollerskating instead of ice skating and also featuring the pop, electronic, and alternative R&B music Glass has inspired, GlassSkates has it all – even a performance by the Bob Baker Marionettes!
