Jason Wells loves the power of good, dynamic storytelling to grow an audience online. He was formerly the executive editor of news at BuzzFeed News, where he worked for 10 years overseeing coverage of immigration, the entertainment industry, and breaking news. Prior to that, he worked at the Los Angeles Times, where he helped oversee online daily coverage of California.
He got his start in news when he joined his student newspaper at the College of the Sequoias and has been hooked ever since. After graduating from San Diego State, he moved to L.A. and has lived in Pasadena for 15 years. He loves hiking and the outdoors and will beat you at tennis any day.
