As an associate editor for audience engagement, think of me as the freeway helping the stories from point A (the website) to point B (social media). My goal is to find new and innovative ways to share our reporting to underrepresented communities and to engage both new and loyal Angelenos.
With new forms of social media popping up, I want to explain L.A. in all forms, whether it’s a breaking news Twitter thread, a TikTok video, or even a meme or two.
Before joining this newsroom, I oversaw social media at 11 newspapers at Southern California News Group.
As an immigrant who moved to the United States at a young age, I am proud to call Los Angeles my home. I will never grow tired of the incredible music venues like the Troubadour, the breathtaking views from the Griffith Observatory, and the hunt for vintage treasures at the Rose Bowl Flea Market.
And don’t get me started on the food. East Hollywood’s Thai Town will always have my heart.
