It's Monday and instead of getting the Monday blues, try and enjoy the sunny skies, cool temps and breezy conditions. Temperatures start to dip on Thursday as another storm heads our way this weekend.

QUICK FACTS
    • Today’s weather: Sunny, breezy
    • Beaches: 65
    • Mountains: 40s-50s
    • Inland: 60s
    • Warnings and advisories: High Surf

It's going to be nice and sunny at the beaches with highs in the mid 60s but be careful out there in those waters — the National Weather Service has issued a high surf advisory until 6 p.m. High surf will impact L.A., Ventura county beaches and the Malibu coast where large breaking waves up to 8 feet tall is expected, mainly on west facing beaches.

Elsewhere, expect highs in the mid to upper 60s — 69 degrees in Woodland Hills, 66 degrees in Covina and 67 degrees in Santa Ana.
High desert temps will reach 60 degrees, 74 degrees in Coachella Valley.
