Today will be the last warm day of the week before a new storm moves in. Enjoy a slight warm up and mostly sunny day.

Today's highs across the Southland will be in the upper 60s to low 70s. The beaches will experience patchy fog conditions until mid morning and afternoon highs will stay in the mid 60s, up to 66 degrees in Long Beach. More inland, the valleys will see highs in the low 70s, up to 73 degrees for the Inland Empire and Orange County.

High desert temps will reach 69 degrees, 81 degrees in Coachella Valley.

The National Weather Service says there's another Pacific storm system making its way to the Southland this weekend. Forecasters say the heavier and steady rain will come Friday, followed by showers Saturday and Sunday. We have a more detailed forecast here.
