Tim Cogshell

Tim Cogshell is a veteran film critic and journalist with over 30 years of experience working for national print, broadcast, and internet-based media concerns, including NPR, KNBC, Spectrum News, Box Office Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, A/V Club, and Alt-Film Guide. He's a regular on NPR affiliate LAist's FilmWeek with Larry Mantle and co-host of the CineGods podcast. Tim is a Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) and the Critics Choice Association (CCA) member. Tim is a screenwriter and producer of narrative films and documentaries. His projects have won festival awards and are widely distributed theatrically streaming and on broadcast television, including PBS and cable and satellite networks internationally. Tim is a Professor of Media Studies at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles, California.
